HOMESTAY MENGKUANG TITI
The Mengkuang Titi Homestay is about 25km from Butterworth, Penang. Found in 1800 by a married couple named Suasa and White. At the time of the discovery the village was filled with mangongang tree or the scientific name of Pandanus Odoratissimus and it was known as Kampung Mengkuang. In 1907 a wooden bridge was built by the British government across the Mengkuang River and from there the village was renamed Kampung Mengkuang Titi.
