HOMESTAY NELAYAN PANTAI SURI
Homestay Nelayan Pantai Suri village is a unique village and is on an island located near the South China Sea and has a beautiful panorama and is also available for those who wish to enjoy and gather a great experience with the fishermen. This is a traditional fishing village and is located on an island at the estuary of the Kelantan River near Tumpat.
This is your destination if you love fishing and would like to experience deep sea fishing with the locals.
The homestay is 17 km away from Kota Bharu City Centre and is about a 30 minute trip, and is 18 km from Tumpat City Centre
and a 45 minute trip.
There are no cars to be found, only motorcycles and bicycles. Most villagers prefer to walk as their houses are near to each other. The coconut trees sway gently because of the breeze and everyone knows each other in the village that consists of 450 people. Try a hand at making the crunchy kuih sepit (love letter biscuit), or savour the tasty and mouth-watering local delicacy, kerabu nipah (palm salad) and play the game Congkak with the locals.
