HOMESTAY GOPENG
Located right in the middle of the town, Homestay Gopeng offers a tour services as well as comfortable rooms. It is less than a 30 minute drive from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport (IPH) and a 10 minute drive from Arulmigu Maha Muthu Mariamman Thevasthanam Temple.
Enjoy the delicious local delicacies called 'masakan kelamai' where the marinated ingredients have been inserted into shaved bamboo stalks and are cooked over a fire. Have a great experience living in the traditional lifestyle with the Malay community of the Rawa descendent, which originated from Pagar Ruyung, Indonesia.
Other activities include playing traditional games like 'Sepak Raga' and 'Congkak'.
There will be a traditional cooking demonstration as well as various endurance activities like white water rafting at Kampar River (the highlight of this homestay) trekking at the nearby caves such as the Tempurong Caves, Candu Caves and many more.
