HOMESTAY KAMPUNG BARU SALONG

Kampung Baru Salon is located near Pekan, a town about 40 kilometers from Kuantan and is near Lake Chini, Malaysia's second biggest natural freshwater lake, with an area of 12.565 acres. The village is easily accessible by road. It is a new settlement located about three kilometers from the Pahang River, the largest river in the peninsula. Homestay Kampung Baru Sulong offers a variety of activities that provide opportunities for visitors to enjoy a genuine Malay village.

There are several activities which can be enjoyed while saying at Kampung Baru Salong. Visitors can go boating in the lake where they can take the boat from the jetty at this homestay for a boat tour to discover the 12 different lakes and visit the Orang Asli settlement at Puput Village, they can go trekking and the area surrounding Kampung Baruoffers a few exciting trails through the forest and some terrains are suitable for four-wheel drives, and they can go fishing, which is one of the most popular activity. The best time for fishing is between November to January when the rainy season increase the volume of the lake.
