HOMESTAY KAMPUNG BULUH
Located about 45 km from the Sultan Mahmud Airport and 40 km from the city of Kuala Terengganu, is the Homestay at Kampung Buluh, Kuala Berang.
You can get to Kuala Berang by road from Kuala Terengganu to or from Pekan Ajil via the Jerangau Jabor highway. Once at Bandar Kuala Berang, Kampung Bulu Homestay is only 1.5 km away. With prior arrangements, guests will be able to view artifacts such as ancient coins and crockery that can be traced to countries in West Asia like China. Most of these artifacts were unearthed when villagers were digging wells or working on their farms.
You will be taken to various historical sites and places of interest in and around Kuala Berang. Besides learning about the past, you can also join in various activities organised by the Kampung Buloh security committee members. Catch fish using your bare hands with the villagers or see how the villagers process tobacco leaves if you are lucky. Visit the famous Kenyir Lake and the nearby aborigine settlement in Sungai Berua which are also part of the interesting homestay package.
